Ok, I returned to work after maternity leave and everything that wasn’t work or baby fell over, including this blog. I’ve slowly clawed my way back into the world and am up and staggering again.

On the art of blurb writing
The blurb is the piece of writing which goes on a con website, or pamphlet to entice players to come play your game. It’s the back of a book, the hook. This is the first thing players see about you and your game. It’s marketing, pure and simple.
I got involved with a marketing organisation a while back professionally, who had interesting things to say about new product launches. They knew their stuff; below is my attempt to convert what they said to blurbs.
